The Golden Verification badge is reserved for high-profile professional players, content creators, esports talent, and community figures with exceptional recognition and influence. It helps the community identify these individuals on FACEIT and protects their profiles from impersonation.
Golden Verification is a selective recognition program. Falling within one of the general eligibility categories does not guarantee approval. Applications are assessed individually against strict internal standards, and the criteria and decision-making process used to approve applications are not publicly disclosed.
Eligibility criteria
The badge may be considered for individuals who have achieved an exceptional level of recognition in their field, including:
- Professional and former professional players with significant achievements and recognition at the highest level of competition.
- Content creators with substantial reach and strong recognition within the international gaming community.
- Esports talent and public figures who are widely recognised internationally.
- Community leaders and industry figures with an exceptional level of influence and recognition within their respective fields.
Golden Verification is intended for individuals who stand out at the highest level of their field. General participation in esports, content creation, or community activities does not, by itself, qualify an individual for the badge.

Please submit an application only if you believe you meet the criteria outlined above. Do not submit multiple applications unless your circumstances have changed significantly since your previous application.
Application review
All applications are reviewed individually, and submitting an application does not guarantee approval. FACEIT reserves the right to determine eligibility based on its internal assessment standards.
Players who have received a platform ban within the past year may be ineligible for Golden Verification. Depending on the context and severity of the violation, eligibility may be restricted indefinitely.
Golden Verification Code of Conduct
Golden Verification badge holders are expected to uphold a high standard of conduct and set a positive example within the FACEIT community. By accepting and retaining the badge, you agree to the following rules:
- No abuse of VIP status. Do not use your badge or status to dodge matches, threaten or intimidate other players, or gain unfair advantages.
- Respect FACEIT staff. Do not use your VIP status to threaten, harass, or pressure FACEIT staff, or to seek preferential treatment.
- Lead by example. Maintain respectful conduct and communication in matches, chats, and all FACEIT spaces.
- No special treatment. Golden Verification does not exempt you from FACEIT rules, moderation, or penalties.
- Follow the general FACEIT Code of Conduct. All badge holders must comply with the FACEIT Code of Conduct.
Badge revocation policy
Violations of the Golden Verification Code of Conduct will result in the removal of the Golden Verification badge for a minimum of six months. After this period, the individual may reapply for verification.
Any subsequent violation will result in permanent removal of the badge, with no possibility of reapplying.
