Intro and Overview of Parties

To significantly enhance the competitive experience on FACEIT, we've revamped our Party system as we work towards a new era of competitive experiences on FACEIT. This update gives users greater control to optimize queuing with friends, finding the right team mates or joining a stranger’s party. You can now instantly create parties and use advanced party preferences, including skill level, country, microphone, verification, and match requirements, all for free, to ensure you bring the right team mates to your team!

Party Features

Chat

When creating or joining a party, you'll access the party chat, enabling communication with everyone in your party. You can send text, emojis, and images. With the new UI, this will appear as a popover window on the right bar, easily closed without blocking other site elements.

Party Finder (NEW)

Party Finder is a new feature that allows you to do two things:

1. You can create and open up your party with advanced criteria to allow any players searching for a party to join
2. or look for an open party to join based on the search criteria settings.

Voice (NEW)

FACEIT Voice is our new voice chat software which allows for low-latency communication with players in your party with minimal resource usage on your computer.

Voice is available to everyone and allows you to easily communicate with your party members in a way that suits you. You can have the best quality audio available or if you are feeling competitive then you can choose the lowest latency option to make sure that your comms are as quick as possible.

Creating a Party

All players on FACEIT are placed inside parties at all times, even when playing solo.

To view your party, press on it at the top right of your page. This will open a popup where you may see all current party members or add and remove members.

Inviting friends to parties is incredibly easy. Simply press the + sign in the party box and it will bring up a list of your online friends. Press the (+) button next to their name to invite them.

Another option is to create a party in a Club, which will be joinable by other players in that community. This process is explained below

Joining a party

If you receive an invitation from a friend on FACEIT to join their party, press 'Accept' to become part of it.

To explore available parties, visit the Party Finder page, where you'll find a list of all currently joinable parties. You can apply filters based on various criteria like skill level, language and country, allowing you to discover your ideal party!

Club Parties

A Club is a digital space that seamlessly combines the top features of your preferred gaming apps, enabling you to group up with your tribe and earn some Elo together.

You can create a party in a Club or join someone else’s party with the click of a button!

To create a party, visit the Club’s page and click on ‘create party’

You will then be able to add filters to the party such as skill level.

Once your party is created, players in the Club can join the party if they meet the requirements. You can also open up Club parties to the public through the Party Finder. Anyone outside the Club who joins through the Party Finder will be added to the Club as a guest until they leave the party.

To join a party, you need to navigate to the Club’s page. The Club's “Parties” page displays both joinable parties and the list of players currently in them.

All you need to do is find a party you like and click the big ‘+’ button on the party!

All Club parties will have the same chat and voice features as described above.
