Intro and overview of Party Finder

We are excited to introduce Party Finder, our new feature to help you find players to team up with.

With Party Finder, you can open up your party to the world, or easily find a party to join and queue up with like-minded players. If you're missing that last player for your party or if you want to find new people to play with, you can post and advertise your own party with advanced criteria for free!

You can use this feature to find a stack to play in any part of the FACEIT experience, from matchmaking to Clubs and even for tournaments and leagues!

Posting your party

You can make your party public either from the Party Finder page or from your party popup

When you click on ‘POST PARTY’ or ‘POST IN PARTY FINDER’ you will need to complete three steps before publishing your party.

The first step is to rename your party (if you want to) and to select where your party will be playing. For the moment this is limited to CS2 matchmaking.

After pressing ‘NEXT’ you will be able to set up the join requirements for your party. Here you can set up an advanced selection criteria to choose what skill levels you want to allow into your party, if players must have a subscription (only available if you have a subscription), verification status, what languages you and your party speak, and lastly the countries that you want to allow to join your party.

After clicking ‘NEXT’ you will be shown all the settings that you have chosen, and if everything is correct then you can click ‘POST PARTY’ to display your party in the Party Finder.

You will then see your party and all its settings at the top of the Party Finder page, you can adjust any previously selected settings or un-post your party listing from the ‘EDIT’ button, or you can use the three dot menu to go to the Matchmaking page where you will be queuing from, invite a friend to the party, open up the party view or leave the party.

You can also make any of these changes from the party view, which will also show you how long your party has been posted for.

Once you're happy with your party, press on 'Go to Matchmaking' to be taken to the matchmaking page. Here you can queue up with your party by clicking on the 'Play' button.

Joining a party

You can find all open parties on the Party Finder page which you can see on the left-hand side of the page under ‘PLAY’

Once on this page, you will be able to see all joinable parties.

To join a party all you have to do is click on the big + on the party. When you join it will automatically open up the party popup with the chat open so that you can type to all the other members of the party.

You can filter the parties by clicking on this icon

This will open up a menu where you can filter the parties you see by verification and premium status, skill level, language and country.

For an overview of all the other features of a party please check out the Party overview guide.
