Manual seeding can only be performed in Adjustment status after sign-ups close and before the tournament is launched. Ensure you have enough time to seed the participants before launching the tournament, as this cannot be done or undone afterward!

Logic behind seedings
The seeding systems maintain the default logic - see Seeding (sports) Wiki.
For elimination formats (Single-elimination and Double-elimination):
- Seed #1 is, by default, the highest seed, and the higher you go with the seed number, the lower the participant's seed. E.g., #1 - highest, #32 - lowest
- Participants cannot be assigned with the same seed.
- If needed, you can seed all the participants in the tournament or just a few of them,
- If you seed all the participants, the bracket will be generated based on the seed values that you provided,
- If you just seed the top X participants, those participants will be seeded the highest, and the rest will be seeded under them based on the FACEIT ELO level (E.g., a participant with ELO level 4 but seeded as number 8 will be better seeded than a participant with ELO level 10 but not assigned a seed number)
For non-elimination formats (Round Robin):
- You can move the participants from one group to another if you have multiple groups.

Default seeding system
By default, Participants are automatically seeded by their ELO Levels (higher ELO Level = higher seed).
Seedings within the same levels are random - see the visual graphic below.
The team roster (Players, Substitutes, and Coach) represents the team’s average ELO Level.
