Some AMD CPUs experience performance issues when running FACEIT Anti-Cheat, often due to a setting called HPET. This is sometimes turned on automatically by software you have installed, such as ASUS AI Suite 3.
To disable HPET, please do the following:
- Click Start and search for Command Prompt
- Right-click on Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator.
- Enter the following command into the command prompt window:
bcdedit /set useplatformclock false
- Restart your PC.
This will disable HPET and allow your PC to run the anticheat and generate frames without unnecessary performance blockers!
