The beta launch of Chromecast support is now live on FACEIT Watch! This feature allows you to enjoy your favourite matches on the big screen. While we’re in the testing phase, please note that there are some limitations as we refine the experience. Check out the FAQ below for details.:
1. What is Chromecast and how does it work?
Chromecast is a streaming protocol from Google that allows you to cast (mirror) content from your smartphone, tablet, or computer to your TV as long as you have a Chromecast receiver device, or a TV with Chromecast built in.
2. How do I set up my Chromecast receiver on my TV?
To set up your Chromecast receiver device, plug it into your TV's HDMI port and power it on. Download the Google Home app on your mobile device, connect to the same Wi-Fi network, and follow the prompts to configure your Chromecast. If your TV comes with Chromecast built in, make sure it is enabled from within the Android TV settings.
3. What is the difference between Chromecast and Chromecast with Google TV?
Standard Chromecast allows you to stream content from your devices to your TV. Chromecast with Google TV features its own user interface and Chromecast capability.
4. Can I cast from my laptop or desktop computer?
Yes, you can cast from your laptop or desktop using the Google Chrome browser. Navigate to FACEIT WATCH, then select the content you want to play, select the "Cast," button and choose your Chromecast device.
5. Can I cast from my mobile device or tablet?
Yes, you can cast from your Android phone using the Google Chrome browser. Simply open Chrome, navigate to FACEIT WATCH, select the content you want to play, select the "Cast" button, and choose your Chromecast device.
6. Where is the Chromecast button located on FACEIT WATCH?
If you have a chromecast device on the same network as the device you are watching on, you should see a ‘Cast’-button inside the video player, next to all the other video controls.
7. How can I improve my Chromecast streaming quality?
Ensure you set the quality of the video stream on the primary device prior to casting, use the cog button on FACEIT WATCH player to choose the quality of the stream and then initiate the cast. In addition, please ensure the chromecast sender and streaming device are close to your Wi-Fi router. Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network for better performance, and avoid network congestion by limiting the number of connected devices.
8. How do I watch POV streams on my TV?
You can control which streams end up on your TV by making sure they’re enabled on your primary device before you begin casting. The streams that you have enabled when you begin casting, are the streams that will end up on your TV.

9. How many POV streams can I watch on the TV?
You may experience different limitations depending on which device you are using. Higher end devices can support up to 2 streams simultaneously while lower end devices can only enable 1 stream at a time.

10. How do I change the streams while I am casting?
Unfortunately, right now we do not support re-configuring the streams while you are casting, so you will have to stop the cast, make a new selection on your primary device, and begin casting again.
11. What should I do if my Chromecast isn’t connecting?
Ensure your Chromecast receiver is powered on, plugged into the HDMI port, and that your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Restart your Chromecast and router if the issue persists.
