Sometimes a game just isn’t going your way, or you’re stuck playing 4v5. Having the ability to forfeit a game to find a better experience can be a good idea for everyone.
How do I forfeit a game?
To trigger a forfeit in a game, one of the following conditions must be met:
- At least 11 rounds have been played
- A player has disconnected for longer than five minutes and received a leaver cooldown
Once one of these occurs, anyone can call a vote in game via the CS:GO options menu to forfeit that match.
If a player has departed the match, a majority vote of three out of the remaining four players will be required to opt for forfeit. Alternatively, if all players are still present in the game, then four out of the five players are needed to decide on forfeiting the match.
