Before participating in tournaments, you must complete two separate steps: connecting your Activision platform account (ATVI ID) and connecting your specific game account (e.g., CODBO7, COD MW4, or CODZW).
1. Connect Your Activision Platform (ATVI ID)
- Log in to FACEIT on the website.
- Click the icon in the upper right corner (your profile photo)
- Open your profile settings (Account Settings)
- In the menu, go to Integrations (or click here)
- Find Activision and click Connect.
If you are already logged into the Activision website in your browser, your account will connect automatically. Otherwise, a prompt will appear asking you to sign in with your Activision credentials.
While this links your Activision platform to FACEIT, you must still connect your specific game account in order to enter tournaments.
2. Connect Your Game Account
- On the FACEIT homepage, click the game selection button on the left, below the search bar.
- Select your game, in this case: CODMW4.
- Click Connect below the game name.
Two things can happen:
- If your Activision platform is already connected: Your game account will connect automatically.
- If your Activision platform isn’t connected: You’ll be prompted to log in to your Activision account first.
Important: You cannot unlink your game account yourself. If you need to change it, contact an admin to have your current game account unlinked.
What If I Changed My ATVI ID?
If you have changed your Activision ID, you must update your connected platform on FACEIT before connecting your game account.
- Go to Profile Settings and then Integrations.
- Disconnect your old Activision account.
- Connect your new Activision account.
If your old game account is still linked, contact an admin to have it unlinked.
Once your ATVI ID is updated and your old game account is unlinked, connect your new game account by following the steps in Section 2.
If you don’t have a game account connected yet: Make sure your Activision platform (ATVI ID) is correctly linked before connecting your game account.
