ESEA League Season 58 Playoff Schedule

Matches must be played by the following evening from the scheduled default match time. For example, if the default day for your match is May 28th, you can play the match anytime before May 28 or up until the evening of the 29th. You can play before the 24-hour window if both teams agree to a time on the match page and open a ticket so a staff member can schedule it. However, you cannot play after the following day, so please rearrange your work schedules, dates, or anything else that can conflict with the playoff dates. Matches will be forfeited if they have not been completed after the evening following the set default day.

Europe 

Starting with Season 58 in Europe, we’re making a pretty big change to how the league groups work. Instead of dumping hundreds of teams into one giant starting group like we used to, we’re splitting them into smaller sub-groups. Each sub-group will run its own full regular season and its own playoff bracket, and then the winners from those will head into the Season Finals to decide the overall champion.

• Advanced - 32 teams make playoffs,
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination bracket until the best 4 teams are determined (2 from the Upper Bracket, 2 from the Lower Bracket)
• Main - 48 teams make playoffs in each of the two (2) sub-groups (96 teams combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best 2 teams are determined (1 from the Upper Bracket, 1 from the Lower Bracket)
• Intermediate - 48 teams make playoffs in each of the two (2) sub-groups (96 combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best 2 teams are determined (1 from the Upper Bracket, 1 from the Lower Bracket)
• Entry - 48 teams make playoffs in each of the four (4) sub-groups (192 combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best (1) team is determined.
• Open10 - 64 teams make playoffs in each of the four (4) sub-groups (248 combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best (1) team is determined.
• Open9 - 48 teams make playoffs
  • Bo3 Single-Elimination bracket
• Open5-8 - 96 teams make playoffs
  • Bo3 Single-Elimination bracket
• Open1-4 - 8 teams make playoffs
  • Bo3 Single-Elimination bracket

  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best 2 teams are determined (1 from the Upper Bracket, 1 from the Lower Bracket)
• Intermediate - 32 teams make playoffs in each of the two (2) sub-groups (64 combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best 2 teams are determined (1 from the Upper Bracket, 1 from the Lower Bracket)
• Open10 East - 64 teams make playoffs in each of the four (3) sub-groups (192 combined)
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best (1) team is determined.
• Open10 West - 48 teams make playoffs
  • Bo3 Double-Elimination brackets until the best (1) team is determined.
• Open1-8 - 128 teams make playoffs
  • Bo3 Single-Elimination bracket
