On April 22, a new seasonal mission will begin. You can earn a seasonal badge that upgrades based on the number of wins you get in Season 8 and your best rank in the season.
How does it work?
- The mission has 5 challenges
- Completing the first challenge earns the initial seasonal badge
- Every subsequent challenge completed upgrades the final badge that you receive
The badge that you’ll earn is based on how many challenges you’ve completed and what your highest rank was in the season.
Where is it shown?
Your seasonal badge will display on your profile underneath your profile card.
Do I need Premium?
No subscription is needed. The seasonal mission is free for all players.
Will I get multiple badges?
You will only get one badge at the end of the season, which is based on how many challenges you completed and what your best rank was in the season.
If you did not complete any challenges, you will not earn a seasonal badge on your profile.
When do I get my badge?
If you’ve earned a badge, you will receive it after Season 8 ends.
How is this different from previous badges?
FACEIT already has multiple badges on profiles showing off:
- Challenger Rank final placement at the end of each season
- Participation in FPL
- Specific seasons of ESEA League
- And more
This new Season 8 Badge is for all players and is tied to progress in the seasonal mission and your best rank in the season.
