What are the rankings?
The FACEIT Overwatch 2 Global Team Rankings calculate the performance data of all teams competing on the platform, including designated LAN events.
What events are included?
The current rankings compile data from FACEIT League, OWCS, EWC, Majors, and Champions Clash. Additional platform tournaments will enter the calculation pool in upcoming cycles.
The dataset records tournament results starting from the FACEIT League Season 4 / 2025 Stage 1 cycle, where teams competed for OWCS relegation positions. The standings track registered platform rosters exclusively. If a team creates an entirely new roster profile or modifies its platform registration settings, existing point balances do not transfer to the new profile automatically.
How is it calculated?
Teams accumulate points based on their final position in eligible tournaments. Events are sorted into numerical tiers based on regional competitive structures and tournament classifications. Tiers range from Tier S to Tier 3, with higher tiers applying a larger multiplier to the base point values.
The calculation uses the following formula: Base Points multiplied by the Tier Multiplier.
Event Tiers
Tier S: OWCS, Majors, EWC, Champions Clash
Tier 1: Master Division (EMEA and NA regions)
Tier 2: Master Division (OCE and SA regions), Expert Division, Advanced Division
Tier 3: Open Division
Multipliers
Tier S: 5x
Tier 1: 3x
Tier 2: 2x
Tier 3: 1x
Points Distribution
1st place: 100 points
2nd place: 75 points
3rd place: 60 points
4th place: 50 points
5th and 6th place: 35 points
7th and 8th place: 20 points
How often does it update?
The global standings update once per month or immediately following the conclusion of a Tier S event. Update intervals will accelerate across upcoming 2025 tournament cycles.
