WHAT DOES A SOFT ELO RECALIBRATION MEAN?
A "soft Elo recalibration" typically refers to a process where a player's Elo rating is adjusted. In a soft Elo recalibration, the changes to a player's Elo rating are relatively small and are often based on their recent performance, rather than making major adjustments. This is to keep competition alive and improve the overall experience on the platform.

Were the rankings finalised at midnight, or do games played afterwards still count?
The first season concluded on January 28th at 23:59 CET. Although any games played afterward continue to contribute to your Elo, the snapshot of the top 125 players was taken precisely at 00:00.
What are the consequences if you qualify for the top 125 beyond this point or lose your rank?
If you attain a position in the top 125 after 00:00, unfortunately, this comes too late for qualification in the proving grounds. Conversely, if you fall out of the top 125 after 00:00, you will still receive an invitation, as your rank was within the top 125 at the conclusion of Season 1.
