FACEIT League S5 Playoffs and Move Ups / Downs

Playoffs

Playoffs for Season 5 of FACEIT League between: Jun 30th 2025 and Jul 20th 2025 for lower divisions. Matches are able to be rescheduled between matches being generated, up until the evening prior to their next match. Exceptions are noted as "Fixed schedule". Default times will remain the same as regular season default times.

All Divisions playoffs will be a Double Elimination bracket and seeding will be based on Regular Season standings. All default start times will retain the same UTC start time as the regular season. The bracket will consist of:

EMEA Master: Top 8 Teams

Move Ups / Downs

Move ups / downs will include all forfeited or inactive teams. If a team moving down does not meet the requirements to participate in the following season, they will be removed from the League. 

OWCS

• Move Down: Bottom 2 OWCS Teams into relegation matches against top 2 Master Teams. Winner of the relegation match will participate in OWCS, losers will participate in Master Division.

EMEA Master

• Move Up: Top 2 Master Teams into relegation matches against bottom 2 OWCS Teams.
• Direct Move Down: 15th-16th place
• Relegations: 13th-14th place

EMEA Expert 

• Move Up: 1st-2nd place
• Relegations: 3rd-4th place
• Move Down: Bottom 8 Teams

EMEA Advanced

• Move Up: Top 6 Teams
• Move Down: Bottom 4 Teams

EMEA Open

• Move Up: Top 8 Teams

NA Master

• Move Up: Top 2 Master Teams into relegation matches against bottom 2 OWCS Teams.
• Direct Move Down: 15th-16th place
• Relegations: 13th-14th place

NA Expert

• Move up: 1st-2nd place
• Relegations: 3rd-4th place
• Move Down: Bottom 8 Teams

NA Advanced

• Move Up: Top 8 Teams

Relegations

OWCS relegation matches will take place shortly after Master playoffs conclude. They will be announced soon. 

Relegation matches will take place on the week of July 21st 2025, they will be a singular BO5 match under the Season 5 rules with flexible rescheduling.

Winners from those matchups will participate in Master Division the following season. If a team forfeits or no longer intends to participate, their opponent will be granted the victory.
