[!] Important:
- We regularly update the game mode on multiple games. When that happens, the game mode on already created/upcoming/ongoing tournaments is changed to a “Legacy” version to prevent any errors on upcoming matches!
- Game mode changes are allowed only before the opening of sign-ups. Once sign-ups are open, you can no longer modify the game mode, such as switching from 5v5 to 1v1.
If the tournament is already ongoing, changing Round configuration or game settings will only affect matches that have yet to be generated. Matches already generated will remain unaffected.
HOW DO I EDIT THE GAME SETTINGS?
To edit the game configuration, or so-called “match settings,” navigate to the “Settings” tab on the main menu and select the “Game configuration” section (marked on the image below).
SELECTING THE GAME MODE
All configurations below the game mode setting are based on the game mode selected.
GAME CONFIGURATIONS
- Some configurations may only be available for certain game modes and/or games;
- Some settings may be hidden under the “Advanced settings” tab at the bottom of the page;
- You can update the game mode (E.g., 5v5 Legacy to 5v5) even after the tournament has started;
- Game mode changes will only affect matches that have not yet been generated;
CONFIGURATIONS BY ROUND
- The general configuration is used for all rounds unless you manually change any specific round’s setting. To customize a specific round’s configuration, add the round and click “Configure.”
- Now you can configure the selected round (e.g. set a different map pool or set the final to a Best of 3).
- Save your changes before returning to the general match configuration page!
