Playing with high ping is one of the most frustrating things that can happen to anyone while playing an online game.
Hopefully, the guidelines below can help with your ping issues.
Everyone has high ping
If everyone has high ping, make sure your captain contacts live support from the Match Page to have a new server configured.
Once everybody has joined the new server, the match shall begin from the most recently saved round.
Unfortunately, if anyone from the losing team does not join the new server, that team will be issued with a loss. If anyone from the winning team fails to join, the match will be canceled.
I’m the only one experiencing high ping
In this scenario, it’s unlikely that the problem is with the server so you may need to troubleshoot your connection to our servers.
Check your internet connection to ensure everything is working fine using websites like speedtest.net.
Despite a fast connection, routing can still be a problem. If the IP of the server does not begin with ‘34 or ‘35’, then please do a latency test with our server provider Hiperz and submit your results to their support staff.
If the IP for the server does begin with ‘34’ or ‘35’ then please submit a ticket to our staff with a link to the matchroom URL so that we can troubleshoot the issue with you.
If you need to leave a game to restart your internet connection, please ask your team politely to call you a timeout, as leaving the server for longer than five minutes will result in a leaver ban.
