Cache FAQ

1. What Is the Cache Club Challenge?

The new de_cache has landed, and you can play it first on FACEIT in our Cache Club Challenge—a limited-time event where players of all skill levels can join a Cache-only queue and climb the ladder to compete for cash prizes in the Mapcore club! To join head to www.faceit.com/cache 

2. When Does the Event Run?

• Start: March 5 at 6:30 PM CET
• End: March 17 at 11:59 PM CET

3. How Can I Take Part?

Any FACEIT user is welcome to join the club and queue for Cache matches—no matter your skill level. Here’s how:

1. Join the Cache Club
   • Go to the Clubs page, find Cache Club, and click Join Club
2. Access the Queue
   • Within the club, locate the Cache Queue under “Club Queues” in the left panel.
   • Join the queue’s channel, then click Play to enter matchmaking.
   • Matchmaking uses your Elo rating to pair you with players of similar skill.
3. Start Competing
   • After clicking Play, you’ll be placed in the queue.
   • When enough players join, everyone must accept the match.
   • If all 10 players accept, you’ll move to the match page to finalize details (e.g., server choice) before joining the server.

4. Will Playing in the Cache Club Challenge Affect My Elo?

No. While the Cache Club Challenge uses your Elo for balanced matchmaking, the outcomes will not adjust your official FACEIT Elo rating. You can enjoy competitive matches without risking a drop in Elo.

5. What Are the Challenge Details and Rewards?

5.1 Cache Club Leaderboard

• The Cache Club has a dedicated Leaderboard tab showing:

1. Be Respectful - We are all here to have fun. There is no need to be mean or rude to other community members.

2. No Chat Spamming - Do not repeatedly paste the same message in all-chat. This disrupts conversations and ruins the flow of engagement.

3. No Posting Malicious Links In Chat - Posting scam links or inappropriate content is strictly forbidden.

4. Do Not Use The Club For Support - This is a club, not a support thread. Do not contact admins or staff for general FACEIT support issues. For club-related support, please reach out to our support team.

BANNING POLICY

This applies both towards teammates and enemy players

**First Offence:** 1 Week Ban

**Second Offence:** 1 Month Ban

**Third Offence:** 1 Year Ban

Behaviours that will result in a ban:

Sexism, Racism, Verbal Abuse, Ladder Abuse, Throwing Matches, and Griefing.
