CS2 connect retry errors

If you’ve been experiencing connectivity issues similar to the screenshot below, then hopefully one of the tips below will help. 

What triggers this issue?

The most common cause of this problem is the blockage of the port by third-party programs, your firewall, or your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Make sure to only have essential programs running and temporarily disable all antiviruses and firewalls to troubleshoot.

If the issue persists, it's advisable to contact your ISP and seek their assistance.

If you're engaging in gameplay over a LAN network with your friends and encountering difficulties connecting to a match, you can address this by adjusting the port settings.

Alternatively, you can try restarting your PC and router before attempting to connect again.

I couldn’t connect and have received a cooldown. What's next?

In most cases, cooldowns stemming from such connection issues are not typically lifted, as they are client-side problems.

However, if you create a support ticket containing a console screenshot showing the IP clearly and a direct link to the match, we will make an effort to rectify the situation for you.
